Welcome to CTN's Training Home Page! CTN has designed a 3 module Consumer Representatives Training course, for consumer advocates and representatives who wish to develop their knowledge and skills in order to best fulfil their roles in the telecommunications industry. The course builds upon the experience that consumer advocates bring with them to their roles. During the course trainees will explore the roles and responsibilities of advocacy and representation, and develop their skills for effective committee membership. Other topics include: consumer rights, effective negotiating and networking, relevant policy areas and where to go for further help. CTN's Consumer Representative Training course is suitable for experienced consumers interested in consumer representation roles in the Australian Telecommunications Industry. Go to: Consumer Representatives Training Manual for a copy of the course outline. Over time we hope to expand and refine the materials we have here. Please keep in touch with us if you are interested in Consumer Representative Training.
